We are having fun introducing Jessica to new tastes. When I give her the first bite of something and she makes her adorable little grossed out face and then proceeds to open her mouth for another bite, it is so cute. Yesterday was day 3 of prunes and let me tell you they did what they were suppose to do. She had 3 medium size and 2 extremely large poos all in one day. Needless to say I didn't feed her prunes last night. I thought her guts could use a break.

We had her 6 month doctor appointment and they said she is doing really well. She is up to 14 lbs 13 oz. No wonder she is getting so hard for me to hold. I need to work out a bit it seems.

When it comes to being a stay-at-home mom I absolutely love it!! It is so much fun to be with her all day long and see her interact with her toys and watch her learn new things. I love her more then anything! Being a mom is all I have ever wanted to be and it is more rewarding than I could ever have imagined!!! Jessica means everything to me!

Last weekend Jake and I moved out of Billy's house and into our new apartment. It is only a 10 minute drive to Jake's work at HP so since he has to drive less that means he gets to spend more time at home with us!! YAY! We figured out the other day that we lived at Billy's for 3 months...oh how times flies! It is nice to be in our own place where Jessica has her own room. She actually takes naps now and the last 2 nights she slept for 9 1/2 hours!!! My little baby is growing up! She has been a lot happier the last few weeks and has been able to entertain herself for more than 5 minutes at a time. Although I love holding her my arms were getting really worn out when I couldn't put her down for more than 5 minutes without her screaming.

We have started Jessica on baby food. So far she has had squash and peas. She loved the squash...the peas aren't as appealing to her. She does eat it but makes grossed out faces the whole time. We are going for the green beans next. Hopefully she will like those more then the peas.

It is hard to believe that she will be 6 months old in 4 days. She is getting so big! Here are a few super cute pictures of her that we have recently taken:
