How big is baby?: 3 1/2 inches long from top of head to bottom & weighs 1 1/2 oz (about the size of a lemon)

Maternity clothes?: Looking forward to the rest of them arriving on Tuesday.

Best moment this week?: Got to watch Jessica open her Christmas presents.

Milestone: Baby has fingerprints this week!

Jessica had her first walking injury this morning. She walked into the bedroom where I was hanging up her clothes and tripped. She hit the side of her face about a half inch from her eye on the bed and now she has a gouge and a bump under that. Poor baby!!! I sure hate seeing her hurt herself!

My interaction at lunch time today at the grocery deli by our place:

I walked in and was looking at the menu trying to decide what I wanted.

Lady Clerk: "Can I make a sandwich for you?"
Me: "Just a minute, I have never been here before so I am trying to decide what I want."
Lady Clerk: "Ok"

Lady Clerk leaves out the back door and Male Clerk walks up to the counter. I walk up to place my order.

Male Clerk: "The deli is closed. She just left." as he points at the door the lady clerk just left through.
Me: "OK??" and I walked out the door.

WTF??? She could have told me the deli closes when she leaves so I needed to hurry and decide or I would not get one...Crazy!!!

Total weight gain: Less then 1 pound

How big is baby?: 2 inches long from top of head to bottom & ½ oz (about the size of a lime)

Maternity clothes?: Definitely

Stretch marks?: Not for a while, if at all.

Sleep?: Still sleeping well but my legs have started to get cramps at night when I point my toes.

Best moment this week?: Toured the hospital where we might have the baby.

What I'm looking forward to this week: Hopefully another week of not throwing up.

Milestone: Baby now has reflexes!

Yesterday Jake and I were playing with Jessica and started asking her where her body parts were and these were the ones she pointed to: eyes, ears, nose, mouth, tummy and toes. What is crazy to me is that she not only knows where those parts are but she knows that when we say "where is your ......." she knows to point to them. She also knows all sorts of animal noises. She has just started trying to repeat words when we ask her to say something too. I can't believe how fast she is learning!

How big is baby?: 1½ inches long from top of head to bottom & less than 1 oz (About the size of a fig)

Maternity clothes?: Starting to wear some.

Stretch marks?: No way...not yet anyway.

Sleep?: Still sleeping.

Best moment this week?: Not much happening in the pregnancy this week.

Movement?: None yet

Food cravings?: Tim's Salt & Vinegar chips...YUM!

Labor signs?: Not yet

Belly button in or out?: Still pretty flat from my last pregnancy.

What I miss: Not feeling sick every morning.

What I'm looking forward to this week: I have a doc appt to get a referral to my OBGYN.

Milestone: Baby is almost fully formed this week...that is quite a milestone!

I had a strange experience this morning. I was standing in the kitchen pouring my cereal feeling just fine and suddenly I started to dry heave. So I ran to the bathroom and proceeded to throw up stomach acid (since there was no food in my stomach yet). I then got up and went back into the kitchen and ate breakfast. I would say that is a first for me....that is throwing up when I feel perfectly fine.

Boy are my hormones going wild. Everything makes me tear up lately. Any time I see anything remotely touching or emotional on TV I get all choked up and misty eyed. At least Jessica is the only one around to see me getting all weepy.

I am happy that the morning sickness is sticking to the morning this time. Last time I was sick all day long nearly every day for at least a couple months. Now I mostly feel sick before I eat breakfast in the morning. Once I have eaten I tend to feel a bit better and by the afternoon I am fine.

Last night I had 2 dreams that the baby was born and turned out to be a boy. I don't know if that means anything but I guess there is a 50% chance that the dreams will come true. I honestly don't care which one it is. I have always wanted 1 of each but it would be a lot easier if I had both girls. So which ever one I have I will be very happy.

I got the swine flu vaccination today. It feels like someone punched me in the arm. Now I have to figure out where to go to get Jessica her swine flu vaccination.

I am going to Jess's baby shower tomorrow afternoon and with all that baby talk I am bound to get all teary eyed being so emotional lately so, Jess, don't be surprised if you see me trying to hold back tears. I'm sure you went through, and maybe still are going through a stage like this during your pregnancy.

It was 1 year ago today that Jake and I arrived back in the US and Jessica's first time in the US all together. So happy 1 year USAnniversary Jake and Jessica!

Sleep?: I wake up a few time a night to go pee but I am still sleeping alright

What I'm looking forward to this week: Telling people that I am pregnant again
